PLA stated that the January meeting’s purpose is to adopt emergency rules and address a couple of emergency certification issues, and that rules will be addressed if there is time. They seemed to believe that the rule review process can be completed by February at the latest.

AMTA Indiana ChapterThis is the bill that would deregulate our profession in Indiana.

AMTA Indiana ChapterWhen a bill is introduced it goes to a committee and then they decide if it goes to their house or senate for a vote. Sometimes they choose not to hear it (happened to us many time over the years). This bill was not given a hearing. Here is a better explanation: www.in.gov/gov/files/BillintoLaw.pdf
