Beyond Spa Basics Spring 2024

May 30, 2024 – June 3, 2024

AMTA Indiana Chapter Spring Education is focusing on spa and beyond. Spa-based therapists will have the opportunity to take niche based classes to enhance their practice. We will also offer a deep dive into upper body treatments.

The in depth deeper dive education we are hosting is as follows:

• The mind bending duo Ann and Lynn Teachworth will be presenting a 21 hour course in their Structural Dynamics series : Cervicals, Shoulders, and Arms. This deep dive into the upper body is a great opportunity for all therapists.
• For our spa therapists,  we have Christy Miller who will be presenting three classes focused on the spa realm of massage. Active & Passive Range of Motion, Stretching, and Hot Bamboo Massage/Hot Stone Massage over all three days.
• Finally, on Friday, we have Gina Bachmeier who will be teaching a Seaweed Wrap course. This class is hands on for the full experience of this service. You will not only learn how to give this wrap, you will also experience the wrap yourself! This is a full service experience.
